BRIDAL VEIL LODGE is four miles west of Multnomah Falls on the Historic
Columbia River Highway (also called US 30, scenic highway, old highway,
Crown Point Highway). The lodge is only 30 minutes from downtown Portland
and the airport, ten minutes from the town of Troutdale, and about
45 minutes from the town of Hood River to the east.

Please
use the directions below and not MapQuest or other online directions – the information they
provide is incomplete and misleading.
FROM THE PORTLAND AIRPORT
Take I-205 south for a short
distance and take the I-84 east exit. Follow directions below.
FROM PORTLAND—SCENIC ROUTE
Take the Troutdale exit (exit 17).
Travel past the gas stations and restaurants to the stoplight (257th).
Turn right
and go over the overpass to the intersection with the Historic Columbia
River Highway, and turn left. Follow the Scenic Route (Historic Columbia
River Highway) signs.
You will pass through Troutdale, Springdale, and Corbett. The road winds down
past Vista House, and several parks and waterfalls. The lodge is on the right side of the road,
across from Bridal Veil state park.
FROM PORTLAND—FREEWAY ROUTE
Take I-84 east about 25 miles to
the Bridal Veil exit (exit 28). Travel about 1/8 mile to the fork in
the road.
Turn right (west) onto the Historic Columbia River Highway. The lodge
is less than one mile, on the left side of the road, across from Bridal
Veil
state park.
FROM POINTS EAST
Head west on I-84. Take the Historic Highway/Ainsworth
Park exit (exit 35). Travel about eight miles on the Historic Columbia
River Highway. You will pass Multnomah and Wahkeena Falls. Bridal Veil
Lodge is
on the left side of the road, across from Bridal Veil state park. (NOTE:
the Bridal Veil exit, # 28, is not accessible from the east. If you
miss exit 35, you must go to Rooster Rock (exit 25), turn around, and
return
to exit 28.)
